Sanderson Ford KidKaster, 10-year-old Aubrey experienced it all during the final KidKaster position for the Coyotes 2014-15 season this past Saturday.
First thing, Aubrey interviewed one of her favorite Coyote players, defenseman Connor Murphy. She shared a bracelet she made for him along with some laughs during their time together. He then signed some stuff for her, including one of his hockey sticks.
Next up for Aubrey was sitting down with Todd Walsh before the start of the game. After they chatted, Walsh signed a full page in her autograph book!
Aubrey and her family took some time to enjoy the game and then headed upstairs to hangout with in-game Coyotes broadcasters, Tyson Nash and Matt McConnell. Then the real “Nasher” signed his mini-me gnome for Aubrey. And of course, Matt and Tyson kept her laughing most of the interview.
Aubrey’s last stop for the night was in the production truck where she received a first hand view at how FOX Sports Arizona broadcasts the game. Afterwards she headed back to her seats with her family to watch her team take on the Devils.
This was an eventful night – one that Aubrey won’t forget and a great way to end the Coyotes KidKaster season. Thanks, Aubrey for finishing out strong!
And remember, YOU could be next! The next KidKaster will be experiencing the D-backs broadcast life. So stay tuned for audition dates and keep an eye out for the next opportunity by following FOX Sports Arizona on Twitter and Facebook.
